PRODUCTION: Kukuriku: Woman Kingdom goes into post-production

    Kukuriku: Woman Kingdom, a Turkish sex comedy about relationships in Turkish culture, completed filming on August 6 and has gone into postproduction. The 2.3 million dollar film is produced by Matla Film (www.matlafilm.com).

    {mosimage}A 45,000 square meter set and seven windmills were built for the film. The set has been left to the city of Bolu. This is the first set in Turkey which was gifted to a city.

    The cast includes TV actors Ali Dusenkalkar, Levent Ulgen and Ceren Soylu; veteran comedy actress Aysen Gruda; and model Didem Erol. The producer is Bahattin Dogan.

    The film is planned to be released in Turkey at January 2011. It is expected to be a blockbuster of the season.
