STRASBOURG: Poland is number four in the top ten of fiction producing countries regarding the number of seasons, with 69 seasons in 2020 and an average of 46 seasons in 2015-2020, according to the report Audiovisual Fiction Production in Europe - 2020 Figures, published by the European Audiovisual Observatory.

UCHAREST: Romanian game developers have announced record growth in 2021, with 67% of companies doing game design noting an increase in revenues according to the Romanian Game Developers Association.

TALLINN: Estonian film professionals as well as theatre, music, museum and art professionals are asking the authorities to include a 20 m EUR recovery package in the supplementary budget for 2022. The funding is aimed at compensating for the losses incurred since the autumn of 2021.

VIENNA: The International Screen Institute (ISI) has recently opened applications for its new training programme for European and International Film and TV creatives and executives. There are three courses this year: Legal & Business Affairs, Audience Design Lab, and Sustainability Management, and the first one starts in June.
