Filming began on 25 September 2015 and will last until the end of October. The crew will work on location in Łódź, Tomaszów Mazowiecki and the forest area near Mikołajowo.
The script, co-written by Kolski and Majchrzak, follows a mysterious loner living in the forest, surviving on what he can hunt and gather. He used to be a successful CEO of a major corporation but decided to leave his life of luxury. The only person he talks to is a prostitute working by the road near the forest. The cast includes Aleksandra Michael, Grzegorz Stelmaszewski and Michał Kowalski. Kolski is also the DoP and producer for the film.
The film is the first feature production of the director's company Wytwórnia Filmowa Popielawy, established in 2012, and is coproduced by Centrala, Centre of Audiovisual Technologies CeTA and K2 Ltd. The official budget has not been announced. The film received 700,000 PLN / 165,669 EUR for production financing from the Polish Film Institute.
The premiere is planned for spring 2016.
